Hi, I’m Laura…
…the sweet, slightly high-strung girl friend who’s just trying to get it “right.” I’m also the naïve co-worker who’s one beat behind and doesn’t know it.
I have traveled across the country with my one-woman shows, played many clubs here in L.A., and have an extensive background in musical theatre.
Favorite roles on screen: Ariadne in the Sci-Fi TV pilot Supernova 45 and Laura in the comedy series This is Laura, which can be seen on Amazon Prime.
With degrees in Theatre and Communicative Disorders/Deaf Studies, I have also worked as a speech and voice therapist.

MUSIC
“Laura Wolfe is an endearing artist and an example of a consummate performer with loads of talent. Anyone who enjoys the classic Hollywood musicals or is a jazz enthusiast should give this multi-talented chanteuse a listen.”
– MUSIC CONNECTION
“…Wolfe did a lovely job of “Look at That Face” in a duet with Marc Ginsburg who countered with the dreamily optimistic “My First Love Song.” Wolfe delivered a humorous and very un-Shirley Bassey interpretation of “Goldfinger”—who remembered these guys wrote those lyrics? Wolfe proved she could power through a song like “Who Can I Turn To? as well as quietly deliver the pure heartfelt emotion embodied in “You and I,” possibly Bricusse’s simplest and best love song.” – ROB STEVENS, LOS ANGELES DRAMA CRITICS CIRCLE
“Laura has that rare ability to thrill you with the music of her voice and at the same time make you fully understand the meaning of the lyrics.” – BETTY GARRETT
“Laura has rich tones and a versatile voice that can handle many different styles. She can take on a big, almost bombastic showstopper and then pull back to an intimate and trembling ballad. A feast for fans of movie musicals, or great songs, or just impressive vocals, Laura Wolfe’s work is recommended.”
– TALKIN’ BROADWAY
“Wolfe’s voice, the aural equivalent of cool cream blending with hot coffee, is perfect for jazz…the entire album is utterly enjoyable and quite intriguing…”
– CABARET SCENES
“This is a concept album, a gem with many brilliant facets showcasing the dazzling voice of Laura Wolfe…she is one of America’s best new jazz singers and interpreters of the Great American Songbook.”
– JOHN BOHANNON, WRHU 88.7 FM NEW YORK
“…she brings new life to the vintage lyrics…these versions are standouts and a bit different than one might expect.”
– L.A. JAZZ SCENE
“…standout work comes from Wolfe as the loveable Liz…”
-BroadwayWorld.com
“There is a large, lively cast with a standout performance by Laura Wolfe…”
– NOHO ARTS DISTRICT.COM
“Laura displays the innate sense of timing and the range of physical and facial expressions of a gifted comic…a charmer.”
-BACKSTAGE
“…standout performances by (Michael) Feinstein and the lovely Laura Wolfe who melted my heart with ‘You Are For Loving’ .”
– IT’S SHOWTIME
“Wolfe is very good as Swoozie and when she finally demonstrates how well she can sing, it’s a lovely moment.”
– BACKSTAGE
“Laura Wolfe gives a compelling and endearing performance as an aspiring singer.”
– JACOB CLARK, METROLA
