Wow, it’s been wayyyy too long since my last post. I’ll try to be better about that. I guess it’s just a commentary on how busy things have been on the music front — in a good way, of course! I think the last thing I posted was that I was going to get my latest album “…also dances” (A Tribute to the Great Dancers of Film) pressed. Well, that CD released in September to wonderful reviews (see my website to check what’s up there so far). I’m currently getting international airplay (yep, I’ve caught the ears of some radio hosts in Europe, as well as the DJs in the states, who started playing my first album He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not last year). I’ve been doing interviews — radio and print — as well as gearing up for my CD Release Party, which will be at SERRA’s in Studio City, CA (again, check out the site for more details. Basically, if there’s anything to know about me, it’s pretty much on that site). I also just released (“just” as in last week) my Holiday EP called What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?, which is available on my site, as well as itunes, Napster, etc. In addition, I’m in rehearsals for a benefit that will be produced by the San Gabriel Valley Music Theatre (again, info on site!). If you find yourself aching for some great cabaret — and let’s face it, who doesn’t ache for some good Sondheim now and then (at the very least, yearn for some prolific Johnny Mercer….have a vague taste for some entertaining Gershwin?? ) — make a reservation. I’ll be there along with 6 other seriously talented singer/actors. It’s for a great cause: to bring Broadway-calibre productions back to the historic, gorgeous San Gabriel Mission Theatre. And they throw in dinner to boot; how do you beat that?
OK, I think you’re pretty much caught up now. Off to rehearsal. I’ll check back again soon…
